Application
Flameproof EExd IIB & IIC control stations are intende for use in areas made potentially hazardous by the presence of flammable liquid, dust, gasses or vapours (Zone 1 or Zone 2).
A complete range of control units are manufactured for various application for use indoors and outdoors.

Features

• Full Certificate of Conformity for Group IIA, IIB & IIC areas.
• Enclosures used are from EJB (EExd IIB) and GUB (EExd IIC) ranges.
• Protection grade IP65 to EN 60529 by application of an approved non-hardening grease and for added resistance to the ingress of dust and moisture. IP66 and 67 available on request.
• Internal / external earth stud size M6.
• Entry thread forms standard ISO 965.1 metric. Other thread forms supplied on request.

Material
Body and cover    Standard: Aluminium alloy LM25 (BS 1490)
Optional : cast Iron.
Hardware    Standard: Steel zinc plated.
Optional: Stainless steel.

Finish
Standard:    Two coat of Gray oven baked.
Optional:    Two pack of epoxy paint, or electrostatic powder coated.
